Normally Rabbi Barbara Block leads Shabbat services at Ames Jewish Congregation approximately once a month; unless otherwise stated, the services take place Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and, if there is a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays. On Saturdays when there is no Bar or Bat Mitzvah, the rabbi leads Torah study Saturdays at 10:00 am. On some of the other weekends, congregation members lead services.
